Don Bates Jr was appointed to serve as Beech Grove Independent Nazarene Church's Senior Pastor January 29, 2020. Prior to that, he served as the Worship Pastor.
Don graduated from Bible Missionary Institute with a BA in Theology.
Serving the congregations with Don is his wife Amy and children Blake, Ethan and Elli. Don and Amy also have a son, Trae, with wife Annalisa and daughter Addy, serving as Youth Pastor in Alaska.
The attributes that best describe Don Bates as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and a love for young people. He has a passion for leading Beech Grove Independent Nazarene Church to embrace and live out a biblical world view, to care about the needs of those around them and connect with others in the body of Christ with the goal of leading all to Jesus. Pastor Don takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study.
God's blessings have been evident and abundent on Pastor Don and his family as they lead this fellowship of believers.
